Does your horse come to you in the pasture or do you have to chase it or bribe it with feed?

Can you send your horse into the trailer?

Does your horse crowd your space or try to run over you?

Does your horse crow hop or buck?

Is your horse head shy?

Does your horse spook easily?

Can you walk, trot, and canter on a loose rein, or does your horse speed up and feel out of control?

Does your horse flex laterally and vertically without stiffness or resistance?

~ Danny and Pam incorporate Clinton
  Anderson's training techniques into their
  system of horsemanship.

~ They have experience training foals,
yearlings, two year olds, mustangs, and aged
horses lacking in some areas of their training.

~ Some of the problem areas they work on are:
head shyness, trailer loading, respect issues,
catching your horse, bucking, and spooking.

Natural Horsemanship is about feel, timing and balance; The art of working, training, and communicating with the horse's personality and natural instincts to form a relationship between horse and man.

Thanks to my friend and breeder, Gayle Bieganowski, my Buttercup has several championships as a young halter horse.  However, Buttercup and I both came to Pam and Danny Kirkendall and Sugar Creek Farm fairly green.  Through Pam’s and Danny’s training, based on their immense experience, talent, and wisdom and love of horses, I have the horse I’ve always dreamed of, and I am gaining the skills and courage to be the rider my horse deserves.

Danny and Pam firmly challenge us within their philosophy and unwavering practice of encouragement and kindness.  They teach within Parelli and Clinton Anderson techniques, and from their own experience.  Groundwork is our foundation for developing skills and understanding and safety is primary.  While Danny and Pam are honest in their recommendations, decisions always rest with the rider/owner.

Rebecca and Buttercup
Amazing things happen at Sugar Creek Farm.  A mustang fresh from a wild herd tears down a fence, and weeks later is a trustworthy trail horse. A weanling is imprinted at birth, and by six months is lunge-line champ and walking bombproof obstacles.  Abused and neglected horses come to Sugar Creek and within months are sleek, healthy, trusting, and well-mannered.  My own thrill comes when my big golden girl stops on a dime with just a voice command or a deeper seat, or when I can move her in groundwork with just a look.

Because of Pam and Danny Kirkendall, I have gained my horse’s trust and respect, and I in turn respect my horse and how she thinks and acts.  Our bond is deep, and I know when I look in her warm eyes that Buttercup and I will only grow closer and better in our riding and our relationship

Danny and Pam will train at your facility or their's. Call for a free training demonstration.
We appreciate everything you did out here for us in Inola.  The relationship has changed so much with our horse, he is much more respectful and gentle.  Every day I watch them bond closer and closer as they play in the arena together.
Thank you, Jeanie and Elizabeth
